Planning a road trip this summer? If so than there are some rather important preparations that need to be planned out before you set off to insure that you and your family have an enjoyable time.
First and foremost, make sure your car, truck or SUV is ready to rock and roll. The tires have air, the oil is changed, all fluids have been checked and everything under the hood is working correctly. A major buzz kill on your summer adventure is to break down on the side of the road.
Next, you will want to make sure you have a roadside emergency kit. You will want to pack bottled water, an extra blanket, a flashlight, and a first aid kit. Another good thing to pack is jumper cables.
You are going to want to make sure that everyone has something to stay entertained for the long periods of time in the car. Road trips are very exciting and a great way to see so many beautiful places in our country but nothing gets more annoying than "are we there yet" and "how much longer" questions. Books, games, movies, coloring books are just a few great way to entertain passengers of all ages.
