under the front hood of the new Ford F-150 Lightning, thanks to the absence of
a gas engine.

Performance
The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning is
powered by a set of two electric motors that come standard and are paired with
all-wheel drive. Together, this system produces up to 426-horsepower. Those who
want to upgrade their powertrain for more range will enjoy up to 563-horsepower
output. Regardless, earn 775-pound-feet of torque.

Capability
Tow up to 10,000-pounds in the new Ford
F-150 Lightning and carry up to 1,800-pounds in the bed of the truck if you opt
for the Extended Range battery. Those who choose the standard powertrain will
be able to tow up to 7,700-pounds behind them and carry up to 2,000-pounds in
the bed.

Technology
The new Ford F-150 Lightning features a
larger 12-inch center touchscreen as a standard feature, something you won't
find on the gas model. You can opt for an even larger 15-inch screen. Both
options utilize SYNC 4 infotainment connectivity, and you'll gain navigation,
smartphone integration, and premium audio.

Safety
Safety features such as auto-braking,
pedestrian detection, lane departure warnings with assistance, and more all
